Aska coaches executives, founders, professionals, and creatives around the globe while facilitating transformative learning experiences for global organizations in partnership with European entities. With over 25 years of professional global experience, Aska brings a unique blend of multicultural and multilingual skills to her role with an extensive international background spans Asia, North America, and Europe, providing her with a globally inclusive perspective that resonates deeply in diverse environments.

 

WHO I AM : MY STORY

Born in Tokyo and raised by a family of successful business leaders, entrepreneurs, and educators, I’ve relocated over 32 times across 23 cities in Asia, the EU, and the US. Seeing the world filled with opportunities, I explored life fully and left the corporate world after four years to establish my own business. I thrived on running a dance school as a professional salsa dancer and building a bilingual emcee, radio host, and interpreter career while teaching languages to private students.

All that came to a halt after I married and moved to a foreign city, where I slowly stopped recognizing who I was. I found myself alone in a misaligned relationship where I mentally and emotionally numbed myself to cope. Then, an incredible spiritual intervention resuscitated me, and I returned to Japan to restart my life at age 33. With nothing to my name, I committed to rebuilding my life again. Through one of my deepest reflected inner works, I redefined and re-identified myself to embrace a new reality and a second chance at life.

I returned to the US with renewed hope, this time to Los Angeles. In 2016, I was hit by a car as a pedestrian, and coupled with toxic corporate workplace drama, I spiraled again and hit rock bottom. I knew I still had some inner deep work to do, so I asked for help this time. When I experienced firsthand the transformative power of coaching, I invested in myself without hesitation and became a certified professional coach. I left my corporate career to embark on this journey I now call my lifework.

Another recent change happened in 2022. After living and working for over 21+ years in the US, I moved to the UK, returning full circle to the continent I grew up in with my partner to find balance and peace. I work with clients, students, and colleagues in the US, EU, and Asia and travel extensively globally as I continue cultivating new clients. Coaching for me is a daily work in progress to spotlight awareness, become more conscious of my thoughts and feelings, and be more aligned with who I truly am. Every day, I feel fortunate to share my gifts with the world, doing what I love doing, leading, and cherishing what I genuinely believe in.
